Recently, the words “Expo” have echoed in my ears several times a day. What image of China has the Expo actually shown to the world? A rapidly developing market economy? A national quality with relatively weak comprehensive capabilities?
What is shown is substantial government investment
I believe it still demonstrates a rapidly developing market economy. It is undeniable that major events over the past few years, including the Olympics, have helped China to be presented to the world, allowing the world to understand modern China. If it is possible to make the world realize that China no longer has only an ancient history and culture, then such promotion is highly successful
