1. The slow-cooling slag processing plant uses a three-stage, closed-circuit crushing process. The coarse crushing equipment is a 600×900 jaw crusher, the medium crushing equipment is a ø1750 standard cone crusher, and the fine crushing equipment is a ø2100 short-head cone crusher. The crushing capacity is approximately 180 tons per hour. The grinding and flotation process consists of a two-stage grinding and separation sequence; the process flow diagram is shown in Figure 1. The equipment for the first stage of grinding is a ball mill with dimensions of ø2700×3600, while the equipment for the second stage of grinding is a ball mill with dimensions of ø2700×4000. The classification equipment includes a cyclone with a diameter of ø500 mm for the first stage and a cyclone with a diameter of ø350 mm for the second stage. The flotation equipment used is an XJk-2.8 flotation machine. The process parameters are: fineness of grinding in the first stage – 55–60% at -200 mesh ; The fineness of grinding in the second stage is 65–70% at -320 mesh. The grinding station efficiency is around 42 tons per hour. Flotation reagents: butyl xanthate at 120 g/t, oil No. 2 at 70 g/t. The flotation parameters are as follows: the grade of the raw slag after slow cooling is around 4%, the grade of the flotation concentrate is 29–30%, the grade of the tailings is 0.30–0.35%, and the recovery rate is 93%–94%. The magnetic separation equipment for the tailings after flotation is a cylindrical magnetic separator with dimensions of ø900×1800 mm. The magnetic separation efficiency is poor; the grade of the magnetic concentrate is around 40%, which is only a few percentage points higher than that of the raw ore.
It is unclear whether the converter slag in his hands has been slowly cooled; without slow cooling, mineral processing becomes difficult.
