How to extend the service life of waste heat boilers?
1. Ensure the quality of desalinated water; 2. Timed discharge ; 3. Operate strictly in accordance with the operating procedures.
1. Control the normal liquid level to prevent the pot from drying out. 2. The heating/cooling rate ≤ 40°C/h. 3. During operation, check the thermal expansion of the waste heat exchanger to prevent blockages that could impede the free expansion of the equipment’s pipes. 4. During operation, enhance drainage on the side of the waste heat exchanger tubes (especially the rear tube bank) to prevent the accumulation of condensate water. 5. The safety valve of the drum should undergo thermal testing after the first startup or after a major repair. 6. The continuous blowdown from the drum, as well as the periodic blowdown from the waste boiler and the bottom of the drum, should be carried out in accordance with the relevant regulations for boiler operation. 7. During operation, the normal liquid level in the steam drum must be maintained at all times; operation at an excessively low liquid level is not allowed. When an extremely low liquid level is detected, emergency measures should be taken to prevent the drum from drying out. When a dry boiler condition occurs due to an accident, every measure should be taken to reduce the evaporation of water in the boiler. Water can only be supplied to the steam drum once the boiler has cooled down to normal temperature, in order to prevent damage caused by rapid cooling. 8. During operation, overpressure must be prevented at all times. In the event of a water supply interruption, operation must be stopped immediately; water can be supplied again only after the temperature drops to normal levels. 9. Regularly flush the drum level gauge to ensure proper level indication, and the remote-level signal must be accurate. 10. During operation, it is strictly prohibited for the boiler to exceed its temperature or pressure limits; measures must be taken to prevent overpressure in the steam drum and to ensure proper water quality in the boiler. 11. When driving, the waste boiler uses steam supplied from the bottom to preheat the boiler water, gradually increasing the temperature.
