The remote pressure reading of the liquid sulfur filter in the plant is always abnormally high, often reaching over 300 KP. Attempts to clean the filter don’t succeed in removing any debris. The remote pressure gauge is installed on the side, while the local pressure gauge is installed at the top; as a result, the remote reading is more than 200 KP higher than the local reading. What could be causing this?
It might be due to frequent adjustments of the sulfonate valve, or perhaps the pressure gauge does not provide adequate insulation.
The sulfonation valve isn’t turned on and off frequently; the insulation can be checked again to see if it works. But with the temperature around 30 degrees right now, there shouldn’t be any problems
It could be a problem with the gauge; have a gauge technician check it
The pressure transmitter has a \"zero drift\" issue; check the pressure display after stopping the sulfonate pump. If that doesn’t work, you can try replacing it with a pressure transmitter of the same specifications in another part of the device. First, determine whether it is a problem with the pressure gauge on site or an issue related to the remote transmission of the pressure transmitter. If it is correct to show 300Kpa. I suggest replacing the liquid sulfur filter element again; it’s likely that the pre-coating process was not done properly, which caused blockages in the filter channels.
