Our company mainly produces urea, but the market for urea has been poor in recent years; therefore, the company wants to launch a melamine production project in order to mitigate some risks. Recently, I have looked up some information on melamine and gained a basic understanding of it. Now I would like to know about the main melamine manufacturers in China, their production capacities, and the manufacturing processes they use. If any of you have relevant information, please share it with me. Thank you!
Sichuan Chuanhua, Sichuan Meifeng, Sichuan Yuxiang; Shandong Lianhe, Shandong Sanhe, Luxi Chemical; Shanxi Fengxi, Henan Junma, Zhongyuan Dahuahua
Are there any details available on the production scale of these units and the manufacturing processes used?
The processes are mainly the high-pressure method (Italian OTEC technology) and the low-pressure method (domestically: Tsinghua University, Luxi Technology, etc.), with a capacity of approximately 30,000 tons per unit at present.
Could the moderator provide some information about Lusi Technology? I heard for the first time that there is also a Luxi technical school in the melamine industry; I’m quite interested. I wonder if this technology is available for external transfer, hehe
I’m not exactly sure; I heard it from a colleague. However, whether it’s Tsinghua, Luxi, or Haihua, etc., they all use the low-pressure method; it’s just that each party made some modifications and applied for patents on those modifications. Basically not transferred. You might try contacting them.
Is there any fellow sailor with experience in melamine? Which manufacturing processes seem to have the best prospects for development these days?
More or less, Haida’s production of triamines has come to a complete halt. Kuixing is the birthplace of triamine production in China, and all low-pressure triamines are related to it and have been developed on that basis. 15,000 tons is the most mature level, while 30,000 tons is also acceptable. Chongqing Jianfeng began producing melamine in October 2007, and it plans to install another production line next year.
Reply to 5# fjhuyuyang: Is there any 50,000 tons per year plant in use?
