Has the production technology for silicone monomers been localized in China? What are its main sources of technology?
Jiangxi Xinghuo is the only state-owned silicone manufacturer in China that is currently in operation. The technology, which was stolen from abroad back then, failed to be put into use after its acquisition; after years of attempts, it was finally operational, but the production volume remains very low. Spark belongs to Blue Planet; if it were truly that good, Blue Planet wouldn’t have to pay such high prices to acquire French Rodia’s technology.
Now that Blue Star’s new silicone project has been decided to be carried out at Xinghuo, it is hoped that Xinghuo will perform better. But after all, it has a very strong Croatian background.
The main ones include Jilin Petrochemical, Jiangsu Meilan, Zhejiang Xinan, Jiangxi Xinghuo. The design institutions are the Chemical Engineering Research Laboratory of Qingdao University of Science and Technology, the Joint Laboratory of Zhejiang University, and Hualu Technology
Jihua is the only company in China that possesses independent intellectual property rights for its domestic technology; it has been in operation for many years, but unfortunately it was shut down for certain reasons. Although many technologies are imported from abroad, after being designed by domestic design institutes, some elements become domestically produced. If one is looking for information or a comprehensive understanding, design institutes are the best source. Zhenjiang Hongda, Luxi Chemical, Zhejiang Xinan, and Jiangxi Xinghuo are all performing well, and Sichuan Luzhou Chemical is also doing fairly well.
