Model: Agilent 7820A. Configuration: Item Quantity: Agilent 7820A main unit – 1; Split/splitless injection port (with EPC) – 2; Hydrogen flame detector FID (with EPC) – 2; Capillary columns – 2; Startup toolkit – 19,199 M1 EZChrom control software – 1; Water and oxygen scavenger for gases – 1
It’s under 17W in total! Last year, a friend bought one with a sampling port; the total cost was around 15W. It was during a promotion at that time, and I guess the price is still around there now
It should not exceed 15W. If it’s not a product intended for external use, it’s recommended not to use an Agilent workstation; domestic alternatives will suffice, and they are also cheaper
May I ask how much it costs to add a TCD detector on the second floor?
I also want to know how much silver coins are required for one 7890a The configuration is roughly as described in the post; don’t use that accumulator.
Actually, you just need to get in touch with the instrument suppliers. Contact several of them and compare their offers; the key is knowing how to negotiate prices
It’s difficult; manufacturers have many reasons to maintain the prices they set.
I know you're referring to the 7820a. I'm using this post to ask questions and learn more about the 7890a

Once I contacted four companies at the same time and asked them for quotes; in the end I managed to purchase the instrument at the lowest price. Only suppliers who see a profit margin in it will be willing to do business
You’re the buyer – why not ask around at a few more places? With that configuration, it can be obtained for 130,000! If it’s too expensive, don’t buy it. They’ll naturally get anxious, and you can tell them that you plan to buy a domestic version instead. Be careful not to lower the price by reducing the configuration
Reply to 4# fxswl: The price for TCD here is around 4000. Since you’re using FID, you probably won’t need TCD either; it would just be a waste in that case!
