In our factory, chlorine dioxide used as a fake disinfectant in the recirculating water system; however, there was no dedicated person responsible for maintaining the chlorine dioxide generator, which often broke down. Eventually, the technicians decided to simply use more chlorine tablets directly. After long-term use, it’s unclear which comparison method is more cost-effective.
If you use the most commonly used chlorine dioxide generator of its kind in China, in the long run the cost of chlorine dioxide will be more favorable; more importantly, its performance is more stable, which is beneficial for improving water quality. If it’s equipment from a reputable manufacturer, it shouldn’t break down frequently.
