I would like to ask whether three-wire wiring means connecting three wires to the resistor terminals, or shorting I-\V- on the display panel. Which of these two wiring methods is correct, or is there no difference? If I use only two wires to connect the PT100 resistor from the field to the display unit inside the room, and connect one wire to terminals 2 and 3 on the wiring terminals of the display unit, can this be considered a three-wire wiring setup?
Connect the wires to two adjacent bridge arms of the measurement bridge. The display instrument and transmitter should be short-circuited.
