Does anyone know what analysis tests need to be performed on pure water, high-purity hydrochloric acid, saltwater entering the reactor, alkali entering the reactor, saltwater exiting the reactor, alkali exiting the reactor, and sodium sulfite solution in ion-exchange membrane chlor-alkali production? , , -Brine fed into the system: NaCl: 300 – 315 g/l; Na2SO4: 4 – 8 g/l; NaClO3: max. 8 g/l; Na2CO3: max. 0.4 g/l; Ca + Mg (as Ca): max. 0.02 mg/l; Sr: max. 0.06 mg/l; SiO2: max. 5 mg/l; Ba: max. 0.5 mg/l; I: max. 0.2 mg/l; Al: max. 0.1 mg/l; Fe: max. 0.1 mg/l; Ni: max. 0.01 mg/l; Mn: max. 0.01 mg/l; Hg: max. 0.1 mg/l; F: max. 0.5 mg/l; Br: max. 30 mg/l. Free chlorine: none. Total heavy metals: max. 0.1 mg/l. Organic matter (converted to TOC): max. 10 mg/l. SS: max. 1 ppm. pH: 9.
Hydrochloric acid: HCl: 31 wt%. Free chlorine: max. 5 ppm. Fe: max. 1 ppm. Ca2+ + Mg2+: max. 0.3 ppm (as Ca2+). TOC: none.
Sodium sulfite: Na2SO3: min. 95 wt%; Fe: max. 0.02 wt%.
Pure water: Conductivity: max. 5 micro-S/cm; SiO2: max. 0.1 ppm; Fe: max. 0.1 ppm.
Brine at the outlet after addition of Na2SO3: Free chlorine: none. pH: 8 – 10. Temperature: 70 – 80 deg-C.
32 wt% caustic soda (at the exit of the electrolyzer): NaOH: 32 ± 1 wt%. NaCl: max. 40 wt ppm. NaClO3: max. 40 wt ppm. Fe2O3: max. 3 wt ppm. Temperature: 83 – 90 deg-C
