We have unified oversight here regarding work discipline； Equipment operation ； Coordination between work sections ； Command and coordination during startup and shutdown, etc.
Our scheduling system is nothing more than a messenger – it just records production data every day! It makes us angry just to look at it!
Scheduling is certainly primarily responsible for coordinating the start-up, shutdown, and normal operation of various production units; one must be familiar with all the processes involved
Our factory coordinates the responsibilities of various positions involved in scheduling, uses DCS for supervision and control, monitors discipline among production staff, and then provides feedback to the workshop
In my opinion, scheduling should aim to balance production, reconcile the interests among various workshops, and turn the entire factory into a cohesive whole. For example, if an emergency occurs in a workshop, the dispatch system comes into play, promptly arranging for each workshop to adjust its production according to the severity of the situation. Labor discipline and attendance are not such that scheduling cannot play a role; however, workshop management should remain the primary focus, with scheduling serving as a supplementary element. After all, it’s good to take care of everything, but over time it’s possible that one ends up relying on the other party to handle things, resulting in nothing being taken care of at all, which is not good.
The main task of scheduling is production, ensuring a proper balance of water, electricity, gas, and steam. Ensure a balance between production, supply, and sales. Responsible for coordinating the operations team and ensuring labor discipline.
