Due to the relatively long exhaust pipes, and the low temperatures in winter, many chlorosilanes present in the exhaust gases condense and remain in the buffer tanks or at the bends in the pipes. I’m curious as to how people deal with this condensed liquid – is it simply drained away or recovered?
The condensed chlorosilane can be recovered and re-distilled.
This post was last edited by zjiris on 2010-9-2 09:11. The low-point drainage is used; it would be a waste to use it for washing, so it should be sent directly to distillation after recovery
Generally, a pipe is used directly for recovery; leaching is not chosen!
The length of pipelines is generally addressed using electric heat tracing; flushing leads to significant waste, and the amount of wastewater and sludge that needs to be treated is also large.
Electric heat tracing can be added to the pipeline; once insulated, condensation will not occur, and the condensate from the buffer tank is sent to the distillation unit.
If the pipeline length exceeds 200m, is it appropriate to use electric heat tracing? Should it be applied to the entire pipeline or only in certain sections?
In the case where the heights of the top condenser, exhaust gas recooler, and buffer tank differ from each other, it seems that cooling the exhaust gas should not affect the recovery process
Isn’t there a pressure difference? The pipe is recycled right after it’s connected.
Refining can be carried out in a small storage tank at the lowest point of the pipeline
