The bindability of the semi-coke obtained from the upgraded lignite decreases, and it is estimated that the use of binders is necessary for shaping. The specific approach requires consulting a briquetting machine manufacturer to conduct tests on the material in order to determine the feasibility of shaping it.
It is necessary to choose the appropriate molding method and process based on the intended use – for example, whether you want to produce cast coke, block coke for calcium carbide production, or block coke for gasification...?

It might be similar to the molding of semi-coke powder; semi-coke is also a type of semi-coke. Our company specializes in equipment for manufacturing shaped coke and briquettes; currently, some of our clients use shaped anthracite powder for producing calcium carbide coke.
