As the company’s hydrogen sulfide boiler is about to undergo major repairs and the relevant documentation is incomplete, we are seeking the maintenance procedures for this hydrogen sulfide boiler. Thank you all for your help.
What kind of device is a hydrogen sulfide boiler? Is it for sulfur recovery?

He must be referring to the waste heat boiler located behind the hydrogen sulfide (sulfur production) combustion furnace in the sulfur recovery unit.

There are probably no specific maintenance procedures; first, stop the operation and drain all the water inside, making sure that the steam lines and water lines connected to it are also closed. Then open the manhole; (it’s wet inside, so spontaneous combustion of ferrous sulfide is generally not likely) to conduct an inspection. It is generally divided into internal inspections and external inspections. Internal inspections involve checking whether there are any blockages in the nozzles of the chemical feeding pipes, the deaeration pipe nozzles, and the exhaust pipes, and clearing such blockages; examining internal welds for cracks or other damages; checking whether the internal partition plates and condensation plates are damaged or cracked; and verifying whether the furnace tubes are broken or leaking, so that any issues can be addressed promptly. Remove impurities and the like from inside. An external inspection simply involves checking whether the connections of the external safety accessories are in good condition and whether these accessories function properly; if not, they need to be replaced (such as safety valves, glass panels, floats, pressure gauges, etc.).
