It’s a series-connected mechanical seal, and the flushing scheme is PLAN11+13+52. The pressure in the seal fluid tank is currently normal. However, there is a DRAIN hole at the lowermost part of the outermost side of the seal; this hole has threads but no plug. Seal fluid is dripping out slowly from this hole, which is located on the outside of the stationary ring of the second seal layer. Please analyze whether the surface of the stationary ring has worn out. In this situation, I plan to keep running it for some more time and then decide whether to replace the mechanical seal or not. These imported mechanical seals have not yet been replaced with domestic alternatives; they are very expensive, costing over four hundred thousand!
Not necessarily; if the auxiliary sealing ring (gasket) is slightly damaged, oil can also leak through that hole.
Leaking of the dynamic and static ring seals (O-rings) can also cause this phenomenon; further observation is recommended. This type of mechanical seal is now well-developed in China.

I have reached a conclusion: the O-ring of the outer moving ring is damaged. For now, it will operate under monitoring, and the seal will be replaced when there is an opportunity.
For Foss and Kran axial pump mechanical seals, the cost ranges from three to four hundred thousand; these are common types of mechanical seals.
