To boost everyone’s interest in learning and posting, as well as to make communication more efficient and problems can be resolved more quickly, this post is being made. I. How to post messages: Many people may not have the time to read the details of each message. If the questions for discussion are clearly stated in the subject, other users can easily identify the messages that are relevant to their interests or expertise, which helps in resolving issues more effectively. The following suggestions are made for this purpose: 1. Indicate in the title whether the post belongs to the category of “request for help, discussion, sharing, or original content”. The following is a brief explanation of the categories: Help Request: As the name implies, when you encounter difficulties in your studies, work, etc. and need assistance from fellow users, please classify it as a help request post. Discussion: Many forum users like to label their questions as discussions, which I think is inappropriate. Discussion posts are for issues that can be understood in various ways, or those that require a deeper exploration. The person who posts a discussion thread must first clarify their own viewpoint before others can continue the discussion. Sharing: It means putting the experiences, standards, literature, etc. that you know at your disposal for everyone to use. However, there is a misconception among us forum users here: posting any type of thread in the technical discussion area is not appropriate. Remember that each technical discussion area comes with a resource sharing section; please post your threads there for better management. Original: It’s something that belongs to you. 2. Highlight the key points in the title and briefly summarize the main content of the issue. Many forum users like to use titles such as “Beginner seeking help…” or “Continuing to solve difficult problems…”. Such titles limit the effectiveness of your post in terms of getting help; many technical experts tend to decide whether to read a post based on its title, and without a clear focus, this approach ends up being ineffective. 3. Explain your problem in detail in the main body of the post, and try to provide relevant references such as images. Note: In many request posts, people simply state their problem and post it without providing any relevant data or descriptions, which makes it difficult for those who are trying to help to get started. Therefore, please describe the problem clearly in the main text. 4. Before asking for help, search the forum first to see if there are any similar posts. 5. Posts with titles containing fewer than four characters will be considered spam. 6. We are willing to give positive ratings to topic posts that comply with the rules. 7. If they remember later, they should check back. If the discussion is active while the poster remains silent, it may affect everyone’s enthusiasm. Here, we would like to ask those who post to keep the following points in mind: 1. Posters should adopt a positive attitude and actively participate in the discussions, sharing their opinions and views in a timely manner; perhaps your small suggestions can inspire others, which in turn can help you solve problems. 2. Based on everyone’s discussions, continuously provide the necessary supplementary information. 3. When discussions among everyone lead to different opinions and clear differences in understanding, the person who posted the question should provide clarification promptly. Since they have the most comprehensive understanding of the issue, they are the most qualified to speak on it. They should take into account the opinions expressed by all parties and gradually draw conclusions; this process of drawing conclusions is actually a process of analysis, digestion, and absorption by the person who posted the question, and it is an essential step for improvement. III. How to post a thread 1. If, through everyone’s discussions and combined with one’s own understanding, the poster has obtained a satisfactory answer, they should post the final result. Since everyone also aims to improve through these discussions, please provide others with an opportunity to learn, so that we can all progress together. 2. Express gratitude to the participants in the discussion through scoring, as this is a basic courtesy in being human (treating others with respect). Starting from the time this post is published, if anyone decides to thank those who helped them through replies without giving any other ratings, we will consider deleting such posts or deducting points from the relevant accounts, depending on the circumstances. 3. Make the appropriate changes to the category in the title (e.g., change “Seeking help” to “Solved”). Those who conscientiously comply with this rule will be rewarded.
