Question: Which companies are currently using small and medium-sized gasification furnaces? What is their H2+CO production capacity? Vaporization method and operating pressure? Thank you all for your advice!
The coal-to-oil project of Jincheng Coal Industry uses the ash fusion powder gasification technology, with an operating pressure of 0.6 MPa, and a CO to H2 ratio of around 68–73%. Inner Mongolia and Shijiazhuang also use the ash pyrolysis powder gasification technology.
May I ask, what era was this from? Are you driving now? Is everything stable?

Reply to 3# rhinocao: The system in Jincheng is now operating stably; it has not yet reached full capacity, and load is currently being increased. The other two have also been operating stably.

Since you are someone from the industry, please explain to the original poster how they achieve stability What kind of coal is being used? What is the composition of the raw gas, and what is the amount of fly ash? How about fly ash residue? Thank you!

The ash fusion gasification furnace is suitable for processing coal with high sulfur, high ash content, and high ash fusion point – namely, low-quality coal with these three characteristics. Since a primary cyclone separator is used to capture the gas that returns to the gasification furnace for combustion, only a small amount of fly ash is captured by the secondary cyclone separator. In raw gas, in addition to about 70% syngas, there is carbon dioxide and a small amount of methane.
With such excellent technology, why isn’t it promoted? Is it because they’re afraid of it being copied? It should be promoted as soon as possible to capture the vast Chinese market. It will be resold abroad in the future. The diameter of the furnace must be over 3 meters, right? The oxygen consumption must be very low, and the carbon conversion rate should be 99%. The efficiency of the cyclone system must be 99.9%, otherwise there wouldn’t be so little fly ash, with the residual carbon content in the fly ash being below 5%. The pressure must also have risen to several dozen kilograms.
