What is the feasibility of producing biodiesel from swill oil? Especially in terms of technical and economic feasibility.
There is absolutely no technical difficulty; small workshops have been carrying out small-scale industrial production for several years now. Economic benefits depend on raw material prices. In recent years, the price of used cooking oil has soared, causing most small workshops to go bankrupt outright. I haven’t paid attention to market conditions over the past year or two.
The technology is mature; it’s best to use gutter oil as the raw material, as it is inexpensive and profitable.
