Is the 3rd-4th burner on the side facing the furnace like this? Why?
This is how actual production works. The side combustion chamber loses more heat, and issues such as leakage through the furnace walls cause its temperature to be lower. The sealing of the regenerator enclosure walls, as well as that of the front wall of the inclined passage, is not tight enough, which has a significant impact
It must be related to the furnace; it seems that the temperature on the coke side of a rammed coke oven is lower than that on the machine side
In a top-mounted furnace with a large taper and a short coking time, the temperature on the coke side is higher than that on the machine side; this refers to the 3–4 burners on the coke side as mentioned by the original poster. If the coking time is very long and there is essentially no temperature difference on the machine side, then the point of highest temperature becomes uncertain. In rammed coke ovens, the taper is small, and there is basically no temperature difference between the machine side and the coke side; it’s likely difficult to determine the exact point of highest temperature.
There is only a minimum temperature point, but no maximum temperature point.
