The vacuum piping of the steam ejector is experiencing continuous vibration; the vibration occurs at a point some distance away from the valve leading to the ejector, and the noise is quite loud. I suspect water hammer is taking place. The extraction steam pressure of the unit is 1.45 MPa, the temperature is 450 degrees, and the vacuum level of the unit is 75–76 kPa. I would like to ask everyone what could be the reason for this How should it be handled?
Is it an air pipe or a steam pipe?
If water hammer occurs, it should affect the vacuum level, right? Are there any changes in the historical records before and after?
Does the pipeline not have a steam trap? Also, when starting up for the first time, all heating valves should be opened to ensure thorough heating of the pipes

The steam ejector is equipped with a drain. But it’s not available on vacuum pipelines.

Is the vibration caused by the new pipeline or by some treatment it has undergone? Pipe vibration often originates from rotating equipment; if not, it may be related to the pipe layout or unstable flow conditions.
