Drawing valves in pipe axonometric views

I’ve looked at some standards and reference books, and in the axonometric drawings of pipes shown there, the two lines that connect the handwheel of the gate valve to the valve body are sometimes connected to the edges of the valve body, while at other times they are connected to its center; however, in most cases they are connected to the edges. I’m not sure when or how to draw them correctly Please ask an expert for help!
Ordinary manual valves are connected to the sides, while control valves are connected to the middle. That’s usually how it’s done, hehe!
