Globe valves feature good sealing performance, low fluid resistance, and certain regulating capabilities. However, its sealing surface wears out easily, it is difficult to maintain, and the opening and closing time is long; therefore, this valve is not suitable for hydrogen pipelines.
Ball valves and globe valves have good sealing properties, and their sealing surfaces are not prone to damage. Personally, I think ball valves are convenient to operate as they allow for quick shut-off; am I correct? Please give me some advice, Fang!
