Our unit’s settler has a low single-spin pressure drop and low leg density, which leads to severe catalyst loss. Please advise on how to address this issue, experts
1. Strengthen the reprocessing of oil slurry. 2. Stop work to clear the material leg.
Are there any comparative data? By comparing before and after, there may be short circuits where the pressure is low; it has been confirmed that a low density of the material legs is also normal. Have there been any abnormal operating conditions recently? Do you have the means to calculate the level height of the settler? Make an adjustment by comparing the changes in reserve volume to see whether it improves or worsens, or if there is no change at all. If this continues, one must stop and check whether there are any perforations in the cyclone’s barrel or problems with the air lift pipe. What is the solid content?
We used to do the same; after cutting the material, let’s try fluidization!
