The ideal five years from now

I once read a post saying that five years after graduation, it no longer matters from which school one graduated. It’s been one year and two months since I graduated, and I finally have the job I wanted, but I’m facing many problems now. My plan is to obtain the title of registered engineer five years after graduating. What do people plan to do, or what are they already doing, five years after graduation?
