Hello everyone, the company is currently undergoing renovations, and we want to connect the drain valve of the accumulator, which has a working pressure of 0.8 MPa, to the boiler’s water inlet tank. What type of design can be used to minimize vibration and water hammer? Thank you all.

You can try this method: instead of connecting the steam trap directly to the boiler’s water collection tank, install a collector below the steam trap. The water from this entire setup flows under its own pressure to an open water collection well, and it is then pumped regularly into the boiler’s water collection tank using a lift pump.

If secondary flash evaporation is taken into consideration, it is still better to opt for a closed-loop condensate recovery system
