This is my first time working with nitric acid medium tank areas, and I would like to ask everyone about the design of drainage pits in such areas I hope everyone can provide more? Thank you so much!
Around storage tanks containing toxic and corrosive materials, dikes and puddle traps should be installed to prevent the spread of these materials and to facilitate their collection. The design thickness of such dikes should be ≥150 mm; the volume inside the dikes must be sufficient to accommodate the largest storage tank (tank) under normal pressure, and the minimum height of the dikes should be no less than 450 mm. The area surrounding the tank farm requires acid-resistant paving. The paving around the storage tanks should have a slope of ≥1% leading from the tanks toward the drainage system (sump), while the slope of the sump itself should be 0.5%-1%.
