Problems with the calorimeter

Recently, I used benzoic acid to calibrate the calorimeter, and found that the heat release value of the bomb calorimeter was 43 higher than those of the other calorimeters. Has anyone encountered this problem? I don’t know why, but it indicates that for the determination of benzoic acid, the values for sulfur, hydrogen, water, etc. were all set to zero.

The unit for 43 is joules per gram. Many experiments were conducted, and in each case the heat release per gram was 43 joules per gram higher; the values obtained using other methods were the same.

It’s exactly 43 J/g every time? Then your skill level is really high! It is recommended that the poster describe the problem clearly so that others can understand it.
