Can single-line text and multi-line text be switched back and forth? Seeking help from experts
A single line can be converted into multiple lines, which can be achieved using CAD’s built-in ET tool. Multiple lines have never been converted to a single line.
It’s easier to turn multiple lines of text into a single line; just use the explode command and that’s it
It’s very simple to change multi-line text to single line – use the command: X (explode). I’ve never used it to change single line text into multiple lines!
To convert multiple lines into a single line, just use the explode function; to convert a single line into multiple lines, CAD has a built-in menu called EXPRESS that provides this functionality. EXPRESS seems to be available only in versions from 2005 onward. It is not installed by default
