Today, while out on the street and seeing children everywhere buying gifts, I realized that Teachers’ Day had arrived. I heard some parents say that teachers advise elementary school students not to give pens or pen cases as gifts; it’s better to give gift cards instead, as schools already have plenty of pens. The world is getting worse by the day; I’ve been rude. Please smile, esteemed seniors – happy holidays!

She has a meeting tomorrow afternoon, and there’s no one to pick up the child. The kind of teacher the original poster is talking about does exist, but they are definitely in the extreme minority!
