During the use of a plastic welding gun, if there is material leakage, oil leakage, or a leak of flammable gases, operations must be stopped immediately. 6. At the site where a plastic welding gun is used, fire extinguishing equipment and tools must be available, and a dedicated person should be assigned to supervise. 7. When using a plastic welding gun in an explosion-proof area, in addition to obtaining a permit for the use of electric tools, a Class 1 hot work permit is also required. When using plastic welding guns in explosion-proof areas, the doors and windows should be opened, surrounding equipment should be covered, flammable items on site should be removed, and the combustible gas concentration in the surrounding area must be checked to ensure it is within acceptable levels before work can proceed. It is not allowed to use substances such as gasoline to clean equipment parts in those areas. 8. When using a plastic welding gun in a confined space, the work area must be thoroughly cleaned and purged to remove all combustible materials; steam cleaning and water washing should be carried out for at least 24 hours. An explosion analysis should be conducted 30 minutes before using the plastic welding gun, and it can only be used once the levels of combustible gases and oxygen are within acceptable limits. Ventilation facilities must be in place during operation, and a dedicated person should be assigned to supervise the work site. 9. Conduct a thorough inspection of the construction site at intervals during work and at the end of the work; clean up the site and cut off the power supply before leaving the work area. As mentioned by the original poster, a plastic welding gun is to be used on a damaged trachea; if it is a pipe carrying toxic gases, such pipes are likely to release toxic gases when exposed to high temperatures ; If it is a gas pipeline, there is a risk of fire and flash explosion; therefore, it is recommended that the person in charge first find out what the pipeline was originally used for, take the appropriate measures, and then proceed with the work!
