Issues with the temperature and pressure reduction valve of the catalytic unit?

The temperature and pressure reduction valve that converts medium-pressure to low-pressure often suffers from scaling, which causes the internal components of the valve to stick together. A cage-type valve is used in this application – are there any good solutions for this issue? What valve should be used as a replacement?
Recommendation 1: Install a filter before the pressure reducing valve to remove impurities from the steam. 2: Place a 100-mesh filter before the control valve on the water side. 3: If it is an integrated temperature and pressure reducing valve, check what type of water is being used. Softened water is recommended.
I only know that angle valves can reduce pressure and temperature.
