One of the specifications for orifice plates in the throttle element specifications of the design institute states that a plate for steam purge is required. What exactly is a plate for steam purge?
The orifice plate itself cannot be involved in the purging process, as there is a risk that debris such as weld slag could damage the orifice plate, thereby affecting its measurement capabilities. Therefore, other orifice plates will be used for purging. When we performed purging here, we removed the orifice plate; it was useless. Install the orifice plate only after thorough purging!0

As for the request, a blow-back orifice plate is needed. I’m not sure about this. It should be understood that a purge gas should be used instead of an orifice plate!
Orifice plates are used to limit flow. During design, the maximum flow rate is determined based on the pressures upstream and downstream, to prevent fluctuations in other systems caused by exceeding the permitted flow range.
