GTSolar introduces its latest CVD reactor for polycrystalline silicon production – GT Solar International, Inc. is a global supplier that provides polycrystalline silicon production technologies, as well as sapphire and silicon crystal growth systems, for the solar, LED, and other specialized markets. The company announced today the introduction of the SDR?400 next-generation CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition) reactor for producing high-purity polysilicon. This SDR400 reactor can produce over 400 metric tons of polysilicon per year. This new power supply will be available as an optional accessory for the standard SDR400 configuration, with the aim of increasing the annual production of polysilicon to over 500 metric tons.
