I would like to ask: the propane pump YQB35-5 in my unit has frequent seal leaks. What could be the cause?
That’s right; there are many ways it can leak. Please be more specific
Light hydrocarbon media are prone to vaporization, which can cause cavitation vibrations in the pump as well as seal leakage; this may be due to low inlet pressure or high temperature, leading to the vaporization of the medium
Can Plan11+52 or Plan11+53A be used? If that doesn’t work, use a gas seal instead, Plan11+72+75. The price isn’t cheap.
The temperature of propane is 30, and the pressure inside the tank is 1 MPa. There is no cooling system; a large spring mechanical seal is used.
