How to locate minor leaks in heat transfer oil

Our tower is heated using heat transfer oil, and small amounts of oil droplets are often found in the product from the last distillation tower. I’m not sure if this is due to a slight leak in the heat transfer oil; if so, what are some simple ways to detect such a leak? And if it’s not that, what other factors could cause the appearance of these oil droplets?
The simplest method is to take samples for chromatographic analysis, by comparing them with pure substances as well as with pure substances to which a few drops of heat transfer oil have been added. Look at the chromatogram to determine the peak time. We have checked for issues with heat transfer oil leakage in the system in this way before.
