The status of ammonia-based zinc oxidation at home and abroad

Currently, the main processes used in China for the wet production of zinc oxide are the acid method and the ammonia method. What are your opinions on these processes and the resulting products?
Ammonia method can be used to produce active zinc oxide powder; a sealed reaction vessel is sufficient for ammonia vaporization, while flash evaporation is used for drying；
With current market conditions, it’s likely impossible to meet the cost requirements using the ammonia method, even though the quality of products produced by this method is good
The cost of the ammonia method should be lower than that of the acid method.
For certain zinc oxide ores with high acidity, I believe the ammonia method represents the future direction for processing; moreover, the environmental pollution caused by the acid method cannot be ignored!
