In the CO2 stripping process, the CO2 gas is split: one portion goes to the stripping tower while another portion goes to the synthesis tower. Which manufacturer does such a thing? What is the main function of CO2 shunting?
Traditional CO2 stripping processes do not divide the flow in this way. It should be new technology for renovation. It is unclear why CO2 is diverted to the synthesis tower Is this the normal course of production?
This is still theoretical; a small amount of CO2 is directly introduced into the synthesis tower in order to maintain its self-heating balance, as most of the urea synthesis takes place in the batch condenser.

If some of the CO2 is sent directly to the synthesis tower, will it affect the stripping efficiency of the stripping tower? Should liquid ammonia also be diverted?

The principle is the same as that of conventional stripping; conventional stripping controls the high-pressure ammonium methoxide condenser so that it does not over-condense, with the aim of retaining some CO2 in the urea tower for reaction and maintaining the self-heating balance of the urea tower.
