When solvent oil is used as a hydrogen supply solvent, the goal of hydrogenation should be to improve its hydrogen supply capacity.
Hydrogenation involves removing sulfur, benzene, and aromatic compounds from the mixture, converting unsaturated hydrocarbons into saturated ones, and reducing odors to a minimum; only hydrocarbon oils that have undergone this process twice are considered good solvent oils. .
