The UPS can still function normally when the input side is powered off, unless the UPS output circuit is powered off.
The reasons for UPS power failure include two aspects: on one hand, it is caused by a fault in the external power supply, which leads to the UPS losing power (including battery failure of the UPS)； On the other hand, partial failures in the UPS or short circuits on the part of the users can cause the UPS to lose power and trip. The primary cause is estimated to be a fault in the UPS’s rectification or inversion circuit, which prevents the UPS battery from being charged when the mains power is normal; as a result, the UPS cannot function properly when there is an issue with the mains power.
