How to handle the start-up and shutdown of fiber membrane desulfurization units?

What medium is used for the airtightness test when starting up the fiber membrane desulfurization unit? Use N2? What should be done with the various separation tanks during shutdown? Can the system use steam to heat the tank after filling it with gasoline or liquefied gas?
It’s sufficient to blow it away with unpurified air and then conduct a pressure test; this is how we proceed when starting up our equipment. After flushing with water during shutdown, all tanks are drained of any remaining water, and then the tanks are steamed. I heard later that the fiber membrane needs to be cleaned by professionals or the supplier, as I haven’t had any experience with it myself. You can consult the fiber membrane supplier about this.

Reply to 3# fengdingwen: After finishing the water top-up with the fiber membrane, do not drain all the water remaining, that is, do not use water to boil it. Here, after we stopped work using this method, we only learned that professional cleaning was needed; however, no problems arose once work resumed, and the results were good.
