There are symptoms related to the card, as well as malfunction in the opening mechanism – the size cannot be controlled. In response to 3# pecker, the rear door usually refers to the valve opening for the chromatography air flow, which is used for cooling the column chamber.
It should be the latter case; I cooled down the machine and restarted it, and observed that no more alarms appeared!
We are not using the same type of instrument as you, but the backdoor switch has exhibited the following issues. A signal to shut the instrument down (increase in temperature) is sent; once the back door closes to a certain extent (but not completely), it begins to vibrate in place. Give it another opening signal, and it will open completely. It’s caused us worry for a long time without any solution. Moreover, this problem occurs during the day but not at night. Finally, the reason was found. This reason is quite hidden. Our wiring supplies power to the chromatograph after passing through a voltage stabilizer. One of the wire connections in the chromatograph is the ground wire. Measuring the voltage on the ground wire with a multimeter and finding voltage indicates that there is a high-power electrical appliance operating in the vicinity, and that device has a relatively large leakage current, large enough to interfere with the weak current signals of the chromatograph. After disconnecting the grounding wire of the chromatograph, this issue no longer occurred with it. This is our real experience; I’m not sure if it will be useful to the original poster.
Reply to 5# weineap: If this phenomenon occurs again in the future, it might be a contact issue. Reasons for occurrence: 1. Electrostatic shielding ； 2. Program BUG ； This is due to inadequate programming and the aging of the circuit board ； Solution: Ignore it in the initial stage and pay more attention to the technical aspects. If it keeps occurring and cannot be resolved, then it’s time to remove the panel for inspection. Occasional phenomena can also be caused by inadequate program instructions, which is related to the CPU on the control circuit board. The more operations are performed, the more strange phenomena appear; as long as there is a result, that’s fine.
