In dry quenching of coke production, why is the pressure in the pre-storage chamber still over -150 even when the furnace lid is not opened? Sometimes it’s around -200 as well; the value becomes even more negative after opening the furnace lid.
When the system pressure is unstable, do not switch to automatic mode for the pre-chamber pressure control valve; instead, make small manual adjustments, adjusting the valve by 0.2–0.5 increments at a time, and only switch to automatic mode once the pressure becomes stable. If the pressure fluctuations are too large, the waste guide opening can be increased.
