Which field is more likely to offer better job opportunities for women: organic synthesis or industrial catalysis? Thank you!
Organic synthesis, fine chemicals.
It’s the same in both synthesis and catalysis; after graduation you usually work on design tasks, and it’s not possible for you to be assigned to do physical labor. If that’s the case, then you’d better not work for that company – there’s no future there, haha.
There are more job opportunities in the synthesis field; one can work in pharmaceutical factories and similar places
It’s extremely easy to find a job in organic synthesis. Compared to many people here who work as operators, not only is it easier to secure a job, but the starting salary for those with a bachelor’s degree is over 3,000, while those with a master’s degree start at 5,000–6,000. Moreover, salaries increase rapidly; isn’t that several times more than what those who work as operators for years after graduation still earn, which is around 2,000 or so? It depends on whether you’re willing to do it
