Regarding the renovation of the catalytic cracking unit, it is possible to increase the product yield by nearly 1 percentage point. We welcome everyone to discuss this together. The purposes of this renovation are as follows: 1. To keep the processing capacity within a reasonable range, based on the actual conditions of the secondary catalyst system. 2. Improve the flexibility and reliability of device operation, laying a solid foundation for long-term operation. 3. Increase yield by 0.5–1.0% (compared to existing raw materials and operating conditions). Effects of the modification: 1. Processing capacity reaches 450,000–500,000 tons per year; 2. Product yield increases by more than 1%. 3. The olefin content in gasoline is reduced to below 40%. 4. The sulfur content in gasoline has been reduced by about 40% compared to before the modification. Material Name Wt% Wt% Remarks Before Reform After Reform Light Recovery 79.9 81.4 +1.5 Total Liquid Recovery 84.1 84.5 +0.4
In fact, there are many methods and measures to increase the yield of light oil, but the key is to carry out targeted modifications based on the actual conditions of your facility and the properties of the raw materials! There are also numerous process modifications aimed at reducing the olefin content in gasoline; examples include the dual riser process developed by Luoyang Institute and the MIP process developed by Beijing Institute. If it is necessary to reduce both the olefin content and the sulfur content, the dual riser process is recommended, as it can lower the olefin content in gasoline to 15%, while reducing the sulfur content by 35% compared to crude gasoline!
