Our company currently produces a certain product. Regarding the selection of a transfer pump: the medium to be transported is a paste with high viscosity, and the temperature is around 250 degrees Celsius. Which type of pump should be chosen in this case? ?
When the viscosity is high, the efficiency of a centrifugal pump is too low. A positive displacement pump can be considered for transportation; gear pumps, cam rotor pumps, and screw pumps are also options. The specific plan needs to be determined based on flow rate and pressure.

Specific values regarding viscosity, whether particles are present, whether there is any corrosiveness, whether explosion protection is required, as well as viscosity, flow rate, and head at high temperatures – the more specific the data, the better the pump that can be selected!
