It is a safety measure taken to prevent combustible gases from accumulating in the pipe trench. But problems arise in practical application: if it is a heavier oil, heating and insulation are required. I wonder how everyone solved it.
Prevents gas accumulation. I’m not quite clear about the issue on the 2nd floor. For heavy oils such as residue oil, we need to maintain a temperature of 150 degrees; there is steam heating outside as well as insulation in place.
