What is an anti-distortion agent, and what is its mechanism of action?

Most of the new isothermal feeding processes do not require anti-sagging agents; such agents were only used in the traditional room-temperature feeding process. The commonly used anti-sagging agent is BHA, whose scientific name is butyl hydroxyanisole. Its main function is to prevent VC from forming rapid particles at high temperatures.
