The company is designing a low-temperature insulated pressure vessel (inner tank + outer shell + vacuum insulation layer), with an operating pressure of 1.6 Mpa. To determine the thickness of the inner tank, it is necessary to use twice the operating pressure as the calculated pressure (according to the regulations for welded insulated gas cylinders). However, some designers from manufacturers suggest that, in accordance with GB150 standards, the calculated pressure should be 1.15 times the operating pressure. May I ask: how exactly should the calculated pressure be determined? The difference between these two values results in a significant difference in the calculated thickness.
