Tar emulsification in the drum cooling tank area causes abnormalities throughout the entire system. The resistance of the primary cooler keeps rising. How to solve the emulsification problem? What is the cause of emulsification?
Personal opinion: 1. Check how well the high-pressure ammonia spraying procedure is being followed. 2. Is the height of the coal briquettes too low? This is purely a matter of diligence in operation; management needs to be strengthened

There are many possibilities for emulsification; you can check first – is the temperature low? Is the low temperature caused by a large amount of wastewater being recycled? The quality of the wastewater recovered is poor, and it contains substances that can cause emulsification. We keep adding demulsifiers here to improve the separation of ammonia and tar.
