This post was last edited by *qingzhuo on 2010-9-23 22:12. What is the flushing oil flow process for the catalyst unit’s flushing oil? When to use it? Is it diesel being used to flush the heavy oil pipelines at startup?
Flushing oil is generally used in instruments to prevent heavy oils from clogging the instrument nozzles. There is usually a flushing oil injection skid. If that’s incorrect, please correct me.
Generally, during shutdown, it is better to first flush the heavy oil line with diesel and then clean it, which results in a cleaner purge.

So-called flushing oil generally falls into two categories: First, instrument flushing oil is used primarily to flush and calibrate instruments for measuring the level of heavy oils; for example, it is used to clean such instruments when there are issues with the level measurement in distillation towers or reprocessing tanks. II. For heavy oil heat exchangers and heavy oil pumps, replacing the heavy oil before shutdown purging or maintenance followed by purging can accelerate the process. The process generally involves connecting the self-sealing oil valve assembly in front of the on-site instruments, or in front of the heat exchanger and the heavy oil pump inlet.
